Instructions | Toor dal fry: boil ? cups of toor dal in a cooker and pressurize for 2 whistles. Grind all the spices (2 tsps. Of coriander powder, some red chillies, 2 to 3 cloves of garlic, a small piece of ginger, cumin seeds or cumin seeds powder) together. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the sliced onion with cardamom, cinnamon and cloves. Add the ground masala and fry for around 15-20 minutes. Now add the boiled dal and add water to make the gravy. |
