Instructions | Thawing - refrigerator: remove all packing before thawing. Place portions in a bowl or tray, cover with foil or plastic wrap. Thaw in the fridge for 8-10 hours or overnight. To refresh portions, lightly rinse with cold water and pat dry with paper towel before cooking. Thawing -microwave: remove all packing before thawing. Place portions in a microwave safe bowl or tray. Start microwave on thaw or low power settings for upto 2 minutes, checking every 30 seconds to make sure the portions are being thawed and not cooked. Cooking-fry it up: heat oil. Dip fish in flour or cornmeal. Fry until brown 1-3 minutes per side, do not overcook. Drain excess oil, serve with your favourite sauce. Cooked-curry: heat oil, lightly fry marinated fish portions on both sides. Mix seasoning and spices with water, bring to a boil and add lightly fried portions. Stir fry on a slow flame until fish is cooked and oil starts floating on top of gravy. |
